Casino volunteering nets club Funds
A little volunteering can make a big difference.

Rotary club of Edmonton Mayfield had their casino this past September and needed extra workers.  Our club members stepped up but in the end, they only needed one shift filled.  Former Mayfield Rotarian - Marilyn Mucha did that shift and negotiated that some funds be shared with our club.  We just received word that they received their proceeds and have offered $ 1000 to YEG Passport Rotary club projects that are eligible per AGLC rules.   Partnership pays.  We hope to continue such collaborations with other clubs - true to the "passport" style of club that we are.

Stay tuned for discussions on where we want to apply these funds.
Dec 18 - Christmas lunch volunteering
Balwin school is holding a Christmas lunch and the Rotary club of Edmonton North East has invited us to join in to help out.

Balwin has approx 400 students from around the world and celebrates their strength in diversity.
They are looking for helpers for their Holiday lunch for the students on Monday, December 18th and have use of the Balwin Community League Kitchen.

They are asking if anyone can help to come to 12904 - 74 street - Balwin Community league.  Food prep will take place from 9 am - come anytime - including 12 - 3 or any portion if you would like to lend a hand.
